At BIDA we want to offer our students the highest standard in dance instruction. This is why all our ballet classes are taught by certified Royal Academy of Dance instructors. Ballet develops body alignment and posture, flexibility, strength and grace. Barre exercises, across the floor and combinations are taught to students of all ages and levels.
Class Age Groups
Pre-primary Ballet: 4 - 4.9 years old
Primary Ballet: 5 - 7 years old
Ballet Grades 1 to 8: 8 - 17 years old
(not based on school grade)*
- Ballet Grade 1:
Students in grade 1 should be first time dancers
with no previous dance experience. - Ballet Grade 2:
Grade 2 students should have had at least
one year of dance training. This class is designed
for students who have had up to two years of ballet
experience. - Ballet Grade 3:
Grade 3 ballet students should have had at least
two to three years of dance training. - Ballet Grade 4:
Grade 4 is designed for students who have had at least three to four years of dance training. - Ballet Grade 5-8:
These are the more advanced grades in ballet. Students must have completed all previous grades in order to enroll in these classes. Auditions or proof of RAD certificate which specifies grade previously completed may be required.

Adult Ballet: 18+ beginner & Intermediate
