Hip hop, one of the more popular genres of dance today combines popular music with upbeat
movements and steps.

Class Age Groups

Primary Hip Hop: 5 - 7 years old

Hip Hop Grades 1 to 4: 8 - 17 years old (not based on school grade)

Adult Hip Hop: 18+ Beginner & Intermediate


Hip hop Grade 1:
Students in grade 1 should be first time dancers with no previous dance experience.

Hip hop Grade 2:
Grade 2 students should have had at least one year of dance training.
This class is designed for students who have had up to two years of hip hop experience.

Hip hop Grade 3:
Grade 3 hip hop students should have had at least two to three years of dance training.

Hip hop Grade 4:
Grade 4 is designed for students who have had at least three to four years of dance training.

Adult Beginner Classes:
Students should be first time dancers with no previous dance experience.

Adult Intermediate Classes:
Students Should have had at least one year of dance training or special permission of the instructor.
