At Bowen Island Dance Academy we offer fantastic birthday parties! Our birthday party package includes a dance class, a craft activity, a snack or lunch, games and present opening. The birthday party time allotments are 2.5 and 3 hours depending on the age of the children. You can choose the form of dance you would like to do at the party. We offer hip hop, jazz and musical theatre for children 6 years and over. For preschool aged children the dance class is a mixture of creative dance, ballet and musical theatre. Party children will have hotdogs, pop and chips for lunch. For a snack, pop and chips will be served. There is an option to serve juice to replace pop at an extra cost. There is a variety of craft activities to choose from. Below is a list of all the theme parties and activities available at BIDA. We also offer goodie bags for the kids which correspond to the theme of the party.
All party needs will be supplied. You just need to bring the cake and the children! We have all the necessities in order to make your party a success! You are welcome to bring helium balloons and other party favours.
Crafts & Themes Available
- Picture perfect – children will paint and decorate a
3 X 5 inch picture frame with various craft supplies such as sparkles, pom poms and foam shapes. - Princess Theme – You can choose from a variety of crafts such as wands, crowns and princess skirts.
- Under the sea – Children will create their own aquarium with paint, moulding clay and other various craft supplies.
- Puppet show – Children will create sock puppets out of various craft supplies.
- Clowning Around – Children will decorate masks and have the opportunity to get their face painted.
- Pirate Party – Children will decorate their own pirate hat and eye patch. This party is an added cost of
$3 per child.
- Hip hop party – Children will decorate their own
t-shirts. They will learn a hip hop dance that is fun for everyone.
